Mountain Vista junior Jenna Fitzsimmons repeated as girls 5A champion at the Colorado High School Activities Association state final at Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Fitzsimmons ran the fastest female 5-kilometer time of the meet by clocking 18:12.3, helping Mountain Vista secure back-to-back team titles with a 44-88 victory over Cherry Creek.
